1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which I, Nadia Asheg (Bays Connect), provide freelance community support services to organisations, businesses, and individuals.

By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Bays Connect provides flexible freelance support including:

  • Community engagement and outreach

  • Volunteer coordination and programme support

  • Project and service management

  • Interim and operational support for organisations

  • Referral and connection of individuals to opportunities

  • Support for businesses developing community partnerships and CSR activity

Services are provided on a flexible, case-by-case basis depending on agreement.

3. Service Agreements

All work is agreed in advance with clients and may include:

  • Scope of work

  • Timelines

  • Fees or funding arrangements (where applicable)

  • Delivery expectations

Work will not begin until both parties confirm agreement (verbally or in writing, including email).

4. Payments

Where services are chargeable:

  • Payment terms will be agreed before work begins

  • Invoices must be paid by the agreed due date

  • Late payments may result in paused or suspended services

5. Cancellations and Changes

Either party may request changes or cancellation of services.

  • Notice should be given as early as possible

  • Work completed up to cancellation may be charged

  • Any cancellation terms will be agreed per project

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • I retain ownership of all pre-existing materials, templates, and methods

  • Clients gain rights to final deliverables only once full payment is received

  • I may reference anonymised work for portfolio or professional development unless otherwise agreed

7. Confidentiality

All client and participant information is treated as confidential.

Information will only be shared where:

  • Required to deliver services

  • Required by law or safeguarding obligations

  • Agreed in advance with the client

8. Safeguarding and Professional Standards

I work in line with safeguarding responsibilities relevant to community and social care work.

I hold:

  • Professional indemnity insurance

  • Public liability insurance

  • Enhanced DBS clearance

  • Ongoing professional training

9. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to provide accurate and professional services:

  • I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • I am not responsible for outcomes beyond agreed service scope

  • Clients remain responsible for decisions made using provided services

10. Third Parties

I may work with or refer to third-party organisations (such as charities or service providers) where necessary to deliver services. I am not responsible for their independent actions or policies.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this website.
